Two huge stories are gathering steam in the final week of the summer window as both Kylian Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo look to leave PSG and Juventus, respectively.

Real Madrid saw their opening €160m bid for the PSG star rejected - after the Parisians accused Real of an “illegal” approach - while Ronaldo has reportedly agreed a deal to join Manchester City.

Man City are looking elsewhere for a frontman after no1 target Harry Kane confirmed he will be staying at Tottenham this year. Spurs, meanwhile, are closing in on the signing of Metz wonderkid Pape Sarr and are talking to Wolves about signing Adama Traore as well as possible interest in Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar.
