What is Information Technology?

Technology is the sum of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation.

The Types of Technology

Mechanical.

Electronic.

Industrial and manufacturing.

Medical.

Communications.

- Mechanical Technology

Mechanical Technology is a hands-on curriculum that provides an in-depth course of study in the technological aspects of the mechanical design profession. Students are exposed to the current technology used in industry and prepared for careers in the field of mechanical design and technology.

- Electronic Technology

Electronics comprises the physics, engineering, technology and applications that deal with the emission, flow and control of electrons in vacuum and matter.[1] It uses active devices to control electron flow by amplification and rectification, which distinguishes it from classical electrical engineering which uses passive effects such as resistance, capacitance and inductance to control current flow.

- Manufacturing Technology

Manufacturing technology is a term that can refer to a number of modern methods of science, production, and engineering that assist in industrial production and various manufacturing processes.

- Medical Technology

Medical technology supports patients in checking the status of a disease or chronic condition. Medical technology help patients overcome injuries and diseases or treating chronic illnesses. Medical technology is found across the whole care pathway, it accelerates recovery and keeps people healthy.

- Communication Technology

Communication technology is the transfer of messages (information) among people and/or machines through the use of technology. This processing of information can help people make decisions, solve problems, and control machines. NCTE 4 Use written language to communicate effectively.
